Steelhead Fly Patterns

    Steelhead do not need to eat during their spawning migration.  But just like a stuffed patron at the Sunday morning buffet, those that are not hungry may be led into temptation when an enticing dessert item comes into view.  So it is with winter steelhead.  Tempt them until they can no longer resist. 
    Not all desserts are created equal.  The same is true of steelhead flies.  Some entice.  Most do not.
